Craniosacral Therapy

Looking for a light-touch, non-invasive way to heal?

Craniosacral therapy is just this – and it releases tension and frees the nervous system to do its job optimally. What this means, is that it can help:

improve function of your entire body

 increase range of motion

 decrease pain, and

 promote overall wellness

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is perfect for your entire family. Babies and children heal quickly when CST is applied, and adults often find relief from chronic and acute ailments!

At Ripple Effect, Eldyka uses Craniosacral Therapy IN CONJUNCTION WITH Acupuncture/Acupressure/Acutonics.

That is to say, patients will benefit from both modalities during the same appointment.

The Treatment:

For infants and younger children:  They will remain fully clothed during the treatment, unless acupuncture is deemed necessary. In that case, the babe will be undressed as required.  Children may be held (ie, nursing position) or may be seated/playing during their treatment.

For older children, teens and adults:  You will be directed how to undress for the treatment, pending on what areas are receiving acupuncture needles.   You will lie covered by a sheet/blanket and receive treatment in a comfortable manner.

Most clients experience a strong sense of relaxation and calm during and after their craniosacral therapy treatment. Some emotional releases may be experienced, although this is not an indication of the efficacy of the treatment.

What does Craniosacral Therapy (CST) treat?

For adults, CST can aid in ANY situation – whether it be pain-related, mobility-related, emotionally-based, stress-based, to improve fertility, help during pregnancy, or otherwise.

In labour and birth, CST can help relax the birthing woman, to help balance and realign the pelvis, and to facilitate baby’s positioning and descent.

For infants & children, for conditions such as:

 Poor breastfeeding, poor latch

Body work before and after tongue tie and lip tie revisions

 Torticollis, head shape issues

 Birth trauma recovery

 Digestive issues (constipation, reflux)

 And more!
